Anyone has any idea? I know it probably depends on how high it is.

For my case highest recorded was 200/90.
Now on Nifedipine 60mg, atenolol 50mg and enalapril 5mg.
Spent months adjusting my dosage until it is under control at 120-135 most part of the day. Towards end of the day about time to sleep will sometimes see 140-160.

also to add on I'm on Vasterel MR 35mg twice daily given by family doctor. was experiencing shortness of breath and chest pain/tightness upon exertion, sometimes even when doing nothing. vasterel seem to work for me with shortness of breath and chest pains almost completely gone. yet to see cardiologist but going for appointment soon. does this mean really have heart problems?

My first recorded incident of elevated blood pressure was when i was in 2005 when i was 16, at 143/77. But i defaulted my referral at SGH (probably not very a wise decision). Next record i had was in 2009 at my family doctor at 170/90.

i enlisted in 2010 september with pes B.

So, anyone with similar problems or roughly know by right what PES i'm supposed to be at according to SAF's guideline?

Thanks in advance.

You'll be on non combat status. Which level of L code depends on your pes score.. Pls take care..

Sinus is too vague.. More info pls..

Genu valgum depends on your severity, angle and recommended treatment. Can be PES C to PES E..

SAF does not recognise GP recommendation for downgrade or any matter unless it's just regular sickness.

For "highlevel" issues such as heart problems hypertension, its better to go see a good specialist. I went to Novena Heart Center for my cardiologist consultation and followup, its not cheap, but the NAME of the doctors is enough to send any MO running, or even understand your report's credibility.

I was in Airforce and i went to see both Novena Heart Center and Flinders EMA for my medical review. very expensive. but i got the pes i wanted. NHC for my Hypertension, and FEMA for my diving problems.

thanks bro. :)

now i'm not really bothered by what pes i get, as long as non combat, i don't wish to chiong with all these underlying conditions. i dont wish to get stroke or heart attack at 30. haha. Now priority is to get everything under control. i already change everything i could, lifestyle, diet and meds everyday without fail. even after all that and losing weight, it makes no diff to my bp at all.

Thanks to all who replied too. Cheers.

Let me ask you something. Do you actually believe 100% you will be non combat cause he said you will be non combat?
