It's very good, at least the one I owned. I got a cheap $900 win7 asus laptop thrown onto the floor - user throwing tantrums. One of the hinges of the flap completely broke off, the casing cracked. Laptop wasn't turned on when it happened. Using hdd somemore, not ssd.

Has been crap for the last 10 years together with Acer.

My 2011 Acer actually last me 12 years before giving out at Dec 2023, which I've switched to HP due to it's looks only

Try Win11 patch 25H2. Seem to improve wifi. At least for my PC & laptops...

Only Apple is good

My Mac Air 2015 visited Leepair center once during warranty. Now still working but SLOW.
Tried upgrade to latest Monterrey, but still slow. Tried install Win 10/11, but cannot detect/dl drivers. Left at storeroom ever since.

Simi Asus sucks, they make a lot for other brands … like Acer… 1 of the few who can manufacture in-house totally.

Even Dell also uses OEM to manufacture… HP and Lenovo also…

The delusion is really siah… sometimes they are manufacture side by side with only the casing diff …

Dell is ahead of all this is not because of laptops but becoz of after sales support and firmware updates are better managed.

Add in Apple and Microsoft also… make by OEMs… difference is they pay OEMs some premiums to utilize better quality parts…

2011, 14 years ago, Asus had not become crap yet. My 2005 Asus still works fine but my lightly used office 2022 Asus has more green lines on the screen than a Samsung phone.
