those r really good temps, what cooler r u using
anyone can push i5960x further ?
is 1.25 too high ?

In our testing to date, the average overclocked frequency for 5960X processors is 4.5GHz. Very good processors will achieve 4.6GHz fully stable with less than 1.30Vcore. Lesser samples achieve 4.4GHz with the same voltage:
CPU | Frequency | Voltage
5960X | 4.6GHz | 1.30V = Good Result
5960X | 4.5GHz | 1.30V = Average Result
5960X | 4.4GHz | 1.30V = Fair Result
~ Rule of thumb ~
Most of the i7 5960X can do 4.5GHz @ average 1.25V, it's the beyond 4.5GHz that requires sweet spotting.

hmm mine actually can go to 4.6 at 1.3![]()
~ overvolt KungFu for the calling all your stuff from amazon ? why not post all of them ?

Good for youNext step is getting 4.6GHz under 1.30V
This requires KungFu, everything comes into play (adaptive voltage/offset and others)~ overvolt KungFu for the calling
Best part of is not getting BSOD124 and other BSOD code (sorry i can't remember which already ~ getting old these days) @ stress full but getting them @ desktop idle lol.
all except for Mainboard and CPU.. thanks for your help also, otherwise i might only build 4790k system..
i decided to go 5960x instead of 5820k, hope i made the right choice...![]()

Welcome to the 5960X family Err .... if price/performance ratio matters, perhaps you should have gotten the 5820k instead or not planning to SLI/PCIe HHHL or 2-way SLI only etc.
Since it's doesn't matter nowWelcome to the 5960X family
Next hoot? Get the Intel 750 HHHL SSD![]()
why not put the psu fan down ? your case got filter so no need to worry on dust.
make sure to enable evga's eco mode...
Do a push-pull fan configuration on your H110 if you are not, there will be further reduction in CPU temps![]()
