Question to DX100 users: how often does the Dx100 hang while you are using?

touch wood. has yet to hang on me since getting it.

and am using it almost everyday.

Use it everyday without hanging too. Looking for a nice pouch that I can commute daily and maybe just attach to a carabiner on my jeans/berms

Just nao I go try Stereo de DX100... I don't know most of the song inside as I do not really listen to English song, but happy to see Avril Lavigne music inside...

So I went to play my favourite song from her from long time ago... "Complicated". Once I press on the song name, my mouth went from :| to :O to . Seriously, I never expect a player will make so much difference in sound quality.

Usually when I audition an item, I only test few seconds of a song, then I keep switching song. But when I audition the DX100, I got to finish listen to that song before I switch song.

Truely an enjoyable experience, but I just cannot see myself spending over a thousands on a player. Hopefully Sony Z Series will give me a good experience, but of course, I did not expect it to be on the level with DX100, but at least an upgrade to the iPod touch.

But after reading the comparison between DX100 and Sony Z(By Vulpix and dqwong), I'm a little sad that they say UM3X is not meant for Sony Z...

Maybe in the future, I will get the "next" DX100, I almost threw the player away when I am browsing for music =.=.

i tried dx100. it is indeed better in SQ, in what way, i do not know how to describe (becos i'm not versed in such knowledge)

however, i personally do not like the look nor the interface (but that may be becos i wasn't familiar with it) and thus didn't get poisoned. i'm also semi-restrictive of my expenditure. but if the form factor, interface and cost are not of major concerns to you....

the other thing is sony z is quite broad, and while it is not warm like dx100, it isn't optimal to hold and might present similar issues to dx100. in my opinion, thickness is a slick factor but is as important as the the width

are you sure your jeans/berms won't droop? how about putting it in an arm pouch? can train your muscles at the same time

So far, I have not been able to find a nice-looking belt pouch fitting the DX100 nicely. Looking for one for my GRD camera too...

Sometimes put in my pocket never drop but belt must tighten =(
Looking a belt pouch so far also but to no avail =(

i wonder if a small sling bag across the shoulder diagonally, with adjustrable strap length is a good idea, but prob if u dun carry other bags.

had the wild idea if there is a waist pouch similar to those hairdressors and their scissors, but accomodating the audio equipments, but i'm sure such items are not avail in the market.

I have a small sling bag but I always have lot of stuff to bring while working. A backpack carrying my laptop charger and DX100 charger, 1 litre bottle and of course spare earphones/headphones in my bag.

The hairdressers waist pouch idea is good but need protection also those too frail I think later knock into something or someone very painful
