It is incredible that the DX100 continues to improve in SQ with each firmware update. And now the UI response is slightly faster as well. The machine-humming sound I heard on previous firmware version was also gone

I think they might have lowered the gain on the amp or something, now I need 10 more to reach my usual listening levels. This could explain the reduction or removal of hiss completely. Vocals seems to have improved with more clarity, more depth in the soundstage and bass is more prominent now, treble also has gain a slight sparkle and the transients has gain abit more attack.

WAT ISH DIS?! The Japanese version of DX100 (HDP-R10) is able to play DSD (DSF)?!
Will this be available later to DX100 via firmware update?
what is dsf for?

Happy with the firmware update so far, should try this again on my Z1000
Just go to post office and say you wanna send a package via EMS loh. It cost me approx 60 sgd to send back to them(which they refunded).
Fwah.
The gui is significantly more responsive and fonts are now anti-aliased. Other than that it is mostly the same.

Does that mean R10 can have up to 14~15 hours playback time?

Beware updated firmware users! The EQ is all turned to full on the DX100 after the update. XD

Envy la, hahaha at least now I'm a happy owner now as well.
Must ALWAYS do a factory reset after update
UI response is faster and more fluid now as compared to previous firmware versions. There is also no lock screen so it is faster to access the music player now. Pressing volume button while the screen is turned off will turn on the screen and activate the volume slider. Not the best implementation but it is much better than before. Unfortunately, it is still not reading tags and cover art properly from FLAC/ALAC but with the continuous effort from iBasso to resolve the issues, this DAP will mature to become a great product
