Just saw Treoo putting up sales page for DX100 and it is selling for 1.2K! Ouch. Makes me feel so much better going for the review batch. Also realised my impression was quoted there. How come I didn't know about it

I suppose they meant "limited stock" on the page (only 4 left), rather than "limited edition"...

I have the dacport, so I will let you know how these two compare. Sabre32 should be better, but the ak4396 on the dacport is already a class of its own.

No, DX100 cannot better them simply because it cannot work as USB DAC. If you are looking for a dedicated DAC then DX100 is not your choice. Comparison in SQ, I will leave that to others as I don't own HRT or DacPort.

Thx! I was lookin at sq comparisons indeed. i guess e enormous cash premium it commands is for e music player function of it. Do hope e sq betters, so I can better justify pulling e trigger when i do...

you might want to wait for Ibasso's desktop DAC or the ODAC. ODAC will be in May and Jbasso's will be in June. not recommended to buy the Dacport lx now, unless you really need.

Received my DX100 today, listening with my Senn650 and ER4s unamp.
sounds great. But occasionally there is a skip or two. Not sure why.

what's the file format and bitrate of your tracks?

so does it sound any better than what you've owned now/previously?

playing only FLAC/Ape lossless. skips occasionally.Yep sounds better than my current setup with Ipad,Pure dac/ emmeline xp-7 amp and HD650.
Now can use my er4s with an amp and sounds pretty good too.
Have not tried tried it with my ibasso D10 and Emmeline XP-7 yet though
