iBasso DX100 Reference DAP Impression

Trying to use it without an amp unless I am home. may get an O2 the next time I am in the US or UK.For now burn-in the DX100.lol

Anyone has any ideas on what caused the skipping on riderxps DX100? Getting mine real soon (fingers crossed) but would like to make sure everything works fine on mine when its here.

erm.. then better dun go to head-fi forum and see the list of bugs being compiled in one of the threads.

so far seems inclined towards the sound is worth the inconvenience.

Skips occasionally when navigating around the Android interface. When just playing music only it seems to be okay no skip.(fingers crossed lol)
Listening to HD650 on mid gain.nice and punchy.

So far most owners are satisfied with the SQ of DX100 with comments such as "close to desktop rig" and "edging out iPod Classic + CLAS stack" etc. However, a few China owners are thinking otherwise. Hope to hear more comments from local owners.

I should be receiving my upgraded unit next week. Just received email from iBasso informing me they had received my unit. Good service from them

plenty moolah required. But at that top price range audition thoroughly as have quite a few choices.It can become a vicious cycle though as have to keep upgrading to find the "elusive" ultimate sound

Listening the DX100 with my Ray Samuels Emmeline XP-7 and HD650.Sounds even better overall.
