Yes, should have no problem at all.Just to check, can the X220 display nicely output to a 32" inch screen?

Got the X220 to display on a 46" screen, no issues.

guys anyone know shop selling t61 mainboard. no need to be new. refurbished also fine ?
thanks
For X220, 64-bit OS with 8GB really make much difference? What can it really do though the graphics card is integrated.
I believed that there should be no problem running multiple VMware right?

Performance negligable i feel. I tried before. Unless you do benchmarking or constant CPU intensive applications (like AutoCad and video rendering) then you will see the difference.I5 and i7 processor got major difference? I getting the better i5 processor. Hmm, i was wondering should i backup or clone the fresh windows or just wait till something wrong and use the recovery disc?
I see. Thanks, so i think its not a problem then. I read lenovo forums and many ppl are complaining about the CPU..Performance negligable i feel. I tried before. Unless you do benchmarking or constant CPU intensive applications (like AutoCad and video rendering) then you will see the difference.
Complaining because?I see. Thanks, so i think its not a problem then. I read lenovo forums and many ppl are complaining about the CPU..

Oh i see. So get the i5 CPU version is good enough.I think it is because the Lenovo forums are saying that the i7 X220s are experiencing throttling problems when both CPU & GPU are stressed 100% due to the lack of power from the 65w chargers.
However, Lenovo is looking into it and will be releasing a new BIOS to solve this.
I have not personally encountered this problem because:
1. I do not purposely stress test the X220
2. My work does not require high CPU & GPU usage
Meaning?Just wondering,
1) if laptop purchases from school, can the school image be used to wipe out using the recovery disc?
2) anyone uses gobi wireless 3G with X220?
