The last few days my X220 has been playing emotions on me. Auto on and auto sleep. Call up Lenovo and they asked me to drop to any Singpost FOC. I am not keen to let Singpost handle my precious X220 so I decided to go to their service centre. They still engage IBM to service their thinkpad at Changi Business Park. When I went there , they greeted me and listen to my issue diligently. As I have company data , they even offer to help to copy the data to my external HDD or send in with set without the SSD. They even offer to deliver the repaired X220 to parkview square for my collection. Fantastic. After all the documentation , they even ask me whether I drive and give me complementary car parking. I was so impressed with their service that I told them that I picked the right brand
They do know how to provide real good after-service! Once i had a keyboard problem on mine, and they came over to my place within the next morning, promptly, replaced the keyboard no questions asked. The technician was even kind enough to note that my battery was having a high cycle count though it being relatively new and replaced that too immediately. Was really impressed.
