What happen if upgrade the 7200 rpm in t470 to ssd m2 or nvme.

The module space for the 7200 is large. How to fix in the ssd m2. Need any accessories?

You Would need a cable and bracket for this.

there is a bracket to hold the ssd + circuit board + cable.

remember to buy nvme ssd as far as i can recall ssd only for nvme on t470

nope, both models it will not be classic keyboard

if to choose between x270 and x280, 8gen cpu would be a better move, as in coffeelake quad core x 2 number of cores vs kabylake.

The E475 and A475 model anyone have play with them?
For business use, AMD APU the CPU performance is weak seriously.

Want to get one but I think get Intel better.

Base on reviews, the battery life is poor and it generates alot of heat

Is not a classic keyboard, just looks alike. feel is different.

A475 is better than E475

A475 is the AMD version of T470

AMD is always not a good laptop CPU. Will stay away from AMD.

looking for a biz laptop, narrowed down to a x1 carbon. saw CES 2018 with the nice screen. Wondering should I wait for this new generation or just buy with the online discount now.

Anyone tried shipping thinkpad from US lenovo corporate store? Saw the discount was pretty insane, X1C5 selling at 1100-1300 USD with some upgrades. That's only 1.7k SGD?? Compared to local student discount, would be around 2.4-2.8k...

I did buy a fully modded set from LCDfans (search them on Facebook), and have been using the modded X230 with a 1440p screen. Everything used to work, including adjustment of the screen brightness but one update about 3 months ago killed off this feature.

I bought mine shipped from UK to SG for my X1C 5th gen just took 3.5 days reaching SG.
