hi reagan022 ! thanks so much!! i think it works! omg... so all the while it was switched off...i thought after i reformat den my bluetooth spoilt... hmm... can ask u a noobie question? is it becoz of this, that's why i get frequent disconnection from my wireless internet? does the bluetooth affects the connection in a way? hee...thanks
well thats why we(everyone who join the forum) are here to help each other. maybe next time you can help me with my gf...LOL
the bluetooth should not affect your wireless connection.
i encounter something like this before. As our thinkpad already has a system called thinkvantage access connection that manages our wireless connection. then windows also got a system called wireless network connection. You only need one to work. i went around looking for solution.
You could disable the windows wirless network service, its called wireless zero configuration in XP. You can reach it by going start>run> type services.msc in the run box. Then scroll down to the wireless zero and stop it if its running and put it on manual, instead of automatic.
if you are running on vista, You could try going to the network and sharing center > click on manage wireless networks in the left column and delete the network that is there. Then thinkvantage should be able to regain control. there is an option to disable automatic connection under Manage Wireless Networks that should also work.
got it from a thread on forum.notebookreview.com. nice website learn alot from there.
hope i helped.
