What model are you using? T410? okay i am using W510 and my USB also giving me live current... I do not know if this is normal but it doesn't bother me. 2nd, mine is fine. 3rd, mine is fine. 4th never call before.

so is USB port being live normal?

What do you mean USB port being live?

I have some problems with the port too but can still live with it. Here's the details:

I have a USB dongle for my wireless mouse. If I on the mouse before the window in OR off the mouse before the lappy fully off(display is black), i'll get blue screen.

i did burn myself. at first i was able to use it. after some time, the disc was not able to read. i did try to use other drive to read it and still the same thing.
so i confirm that the disc is damage.

u only can create image recovery once. 1 time action only.

if u know how to reformat u save ur trip, juz copy ur current cd key. online have window 7 installer, dl same version. burn the iso image n boot it, there goes ur win 7 reformat disc created. juz recycle ur key. tried n tested win 7 pro 64bit =)

above link should be legal as its cd key free, purely win 7 OS installer.

anyway using same cd key that y they can provide free except the trouble involve. maybe they use cloning? cloning i think faster then reformat? nv use cloning before.

unless they so good to use their own cd key if they have volume license but maybe legal issue i doubt so.

bro u sure it free ?it applied to all thinkpad be it bought from poly or uni or public shops?

should be the same, but poly version should already be 64bit cause they are giving 4GB ram.

Not the windows version (home to pro - I know this is chargeable :)), but from 32bit to 64bit

32 to 64 Bit change is free, cause the license key is the same, go to changi and get the disc to do the upgrade. depending on your HDD, can take up to 1hour++ to load.

Or you can buy the disc itself. in case you need it in future. I think... THink only, it should cost about 70++ and can be collected at Park View Sq

Bring something to entertain yourself cause there is nothing to do there but wait for the installation to be completed. Can be quite boring.
