2nd power adaper is a must if you use it at several locations.
If you travel alot, get an extra 9-cell battery.
If you do not like the noise of the 7200rpm hdd, get a SSD.
If you use 3G, get a Gobi2000 module (can get from me :), best price on market).

My X201 came with Seagate 500gb 7200rpm 16mb cache HDD.

I itchy finger change it to WDC Scorpio black, 500gb 7200rpm and 16mb cache.

Reason being I don't like Seagate HDD. All my PCs running on WDC Black.

My 3 desktops running WDC Black 640gb

My 2 X61 running WDC Black 320gb

I bought a Logitech anywhere mouse with nano receiver and darkfield sensor for $130 for my X201.

Forget to mention that I also spend a bomb buying original software for my X201.

Adobe CS5 Design Premium $119
MS Office 2010 Pro $122
MS Windows 7 Ultimate $129

In case you are wondering, I'm able to purchase it at acad pricing as I'm a staff one of the IHL. That's one of the perks and also enable me to purchase original software.

Hi i would like to know what are the ways to verify if my computer is wwan ready. its a lenovo x200t type 7449-9fu imported from usa. i checked online and found that it is wwan ready from tabook.pdf from lenovo site . I also opened up the palmrest and saw the respective antenna cables in its appropriate places. However, the local lenovo centre says my x200t is not wwan ready. i am totally confused. can anyone help me clarify on that? Thanks a million.

Sorry for being unable to post link.

me and my wife got our x100es last weekend. so far very very happy with the keyboard and the screen. =)

Congratulations! Hows the battery life and general performance?

@edling - Wow, am pretty surprised that the integrated graphics on the X201 can run Starcraft II! What resolution are you running?

Congratulations! Hows the battery life and general performance?

For general use it should be fine. I tried playing DOTA on it and it was very smooth. Playing HD/MKV videos out of the box though is not good. I had to update the driver of the video card and install Media Player Classic before it ran smoothly. The keyboard and the screen is fantastic.

Battery life, I havent tested so far but based from one of the guys here it should be around 4.5 hrs on a full charge. Overall I can say I'm happy with the x100e specially at the price I got it. =)

One minor gripe though is that it doesnt have the num lock/numeric keypads which i didnt notice until I got it. Haha!

You mean this particular model of x200 tablet has a wwan antenna and is wwan ready? I don't quite get you from your reply. Maybe you can be more specific? Thank you. :s11:

The default drivers do not allow hardware acceleration for full HD/flash. This is why you notice an improvement once you updated the drivers.
