Quite true, my director dont understand keep saying is easy, i spend few months working on the custom gpt. It look easy cos i show the results, then i dont bother. Straight demo to my VP, he was impressed.

But i also scare of promotion, then next step is senior manager, alot of things to do one. I want to go work late and go home early type.

Usually i act blur look stream, why should i solve your issue? Just act busy... I rather disappear and kopi with colleagues.

depends on the chances and how high you can be promo or increase in salary. if token appreciation but ended up with more work and responsibility then no thanks. unless you can benefit in other ways like exposure and experience to add value to you next job hunt, I fail to see a need to work hard for a company that doesn't value you.

Be hardworking at the initial part then when you are good enough, no one will question much. Like sometimes I dont feel working, just say i go site and disappear to home and WFH. Most of the time, clear email and then take a nap. Then fetch my wife.

i am busy i was handling my own **** but had no hot desk that day at that floor that i needed to do work
