All this are for nostalgia reason only. The difficulty is finding spare parts to keep the PC alive. Like high capacity 4GB DDR3 is rare.
I moved my PC to 8th and 9th gen core i5 because they still have many years of life with them and are cheap to have...2nd hand of course. On the rare occasion, can get some cheap H310M motherboard brand new at S$80 across the causeway to continue running them for another 5 - 7 years if their motherboards died...
I still can revive a i3 3200 Intel CPU with it's gigabyte motherboard... With new CMOS battery, PSU and etc... but what's the value doing that when I can have the dirt cheap i5 9400 ?
