This card is dead to me. Don't see much difference in fx savings

Did you check how much is the SGD to MYR exchange rate in amaze wallet? Its 3.517 now which is as good as spot rate. You even earn points equivalent to 1% for spending.

Either you link to another credit card to earn rebate or points else link to wallet to get close to spot rate and earn 1%. No need to even waste time with another card to earn rewards that barely offset the 3.25% fees. Instead of being dead, this card in fact is doing it all.

i will just use uob one card and icbc travel card for the 3.33% and 3% rebate. Will be able to offset the fx charges
Interesting to find out there are better options, UOB has a few conditions though.

When did you make the switch from Instarem to the above cards?

Hmm...so basically now, as long as you hit your min spend of SGD$500 and min 5 transactions, you'll get 3.3% cashback on the bill?

One can also top-up their Amaze wallet so the rate is 0.2-0.3% (saw this from YouTube video). Why not do that?

no, need to hit min $500 spend and 5 transactions in all 3 statement months of qualifying quarter before can get $50 rebate (up to 3.33%). FX fees 3.25%. Not the best card for overseas spend.

Forgot to mention the statement months and qualifying quarter, but suppose my monthly overall CC spend is at least $800-$100, wouldn't that make it the best card for overseas spend?

Appreciate the clarification by the way! Can share what do you use for overseas spend as well?

Because of highsulphur's post of course, unless his explanation is not adequate.

You use so many cards?

high didnt say its the best card. It fits him/her so he/she uses this card.

Trazora is just listing other alternatives you can use.

The moment you cannot hit 1K SGD spend for any of the month in the quarter, you already lost out.
Best card is subjective and in your case, if you can make it 1K SGD per month in that quarter, then it works for you.
