Hi, yes, is for overseas online shopping and is accepted MCC for UOB one account and UOB lady. However, I am trying to explore option of amaze + UOB lady card if possible to reduce (FRX) cost. I understand that UOB lady card excludes amaze transaction, but saw someone commented to use amaze + UOB lady card, hence would seek kind souls to advise if amaze transaction is allowed. Thanks

only "amaze* transit" (use amaze card topup at GTM at MRT) excluded, other amaze + uob lady not excluded. Make sure the mcc is under selected category on ur lady card for 4mpd

You are not using the wallet feature. Just go and check out the exchange rate now. Instarem is using the following rate
Sgd to myr 3.493
Sgd to usd 0.7326.

On XE now
Sgd to myr 3.493
Sgd to usd 0.7326.

Instarem is using spot rate if you choose to forgo the rewards. No credit card using Visa or MC rate can ever match this rate.

I am planning for a vacation to KL/Genting in Jun school holidays. I guess the best is to just pre-convert SGD to MYR using the Amaze wallet feature and then spend via the card right?

Just curious, FSMOne debit card gives 1% cashback, do you know the FX rate for this card?

assuming it was right, I went ahead with their recommendation, but after charging, I went to check the MCC with the bank, they telling me another MCC# and falls into those non eligible category (eg, from transport become ferry)

and there's no way to feedback this inaccuracy to heymax.

Probably too ambitious as a startup and lack the resources. They claim to launch hey max card in q4 last year and it's now q2 still no news.

based on my experience with another currency, IDR back in March, most of the time around 0.5% above MC rates, but always <1% markup

dun lock amaze card, instead link to Amaze wallet with insufficient fund.
