Ah I understand now. It is the CC rewards itself outside the 8%. It is like the POSB everyday card giving few % cash back on some categories of spending. These are on top of the 8%.
When and how often do they have 100% cash back bonus ?
I had issues too but it was due to me blocking the linked dbs card from payment control
Maybe glitch with overseas physical usage security settings, probably they haven't really tested that scenario well.
I saw it couple of times in Nov and Dec last year. Maybe they will have in Feb for CNY.
once or twice a year. so whenever that happens just use it to offset your purchase via PayLah app. once missed, then it's back to 2% without 100%.
well normal days usually have about 50% cashback also
