You just be you and let the rest enjoy Amaze. Are you on a mission?Yes we should change the countries we visit cause some amaze fan booy makes up things in his mind about there being a live exchange for small currency amounts lol

Lol.oh so now you stopped advising us all not to visit not visit non-premium asean countries with unstable currencies (non of which is true) and instead are advising me to not tease you for saying so lol. It seems you might be the one on a mission lol.
a little bit of consistency might help your pleas
Oh no with such power comes great responsibility. I have nothing but respect for someone that slags off their own region then whines when someone mocks them. You are truely amazing and when things don’t go well for you and you get hurt feelings you would never become a child about it. Such is the might of your character lolLol.
you are in the ignore list.
well in reality can use multiple cards with Amaze should there be a cap to the rewards/rebate limit, should still do better than Revolut even if max out the Amaze rebate. Can also switch to Revolut for spending that dun earn much rewards/rebate due to MCC exclusion or maxing out all the cards for better rewards/rebate.Strange you are actually achieving the impossible haha … there is no spot market in the weekend anwhere in the world —- you probably should have realised that when your reference spot was not changing every moment. Simply a lot of you folks don’t seem to understand the realities of the things they are saying. The price you are referencing will be stale data from friday and the weekend mechism is wholy different as rates are adjusted buffered out to account for this
also i assume you are using the citibank cash back card on groceries and resturants to get the 8% … what happens when you spend over 1000 ? Or spend on other things? The limit is 80 on citi and normal people will have spent much of this already before they travel in their daily life. So then you gotta ensure you spend on food only and not more than 1000 minus whatever you already spend previously and well you know the romatic no brainer situation becomes pretty hard to operate within within cause restuants pay 6% and groceries pay 8% and we know you not going to groceries shops there.
Conclusion
1) To say you are getting 1% back is incorrect if you spend more than 5k in the 3 months or (10 k onshore)
2) To say you get 8% is untrue in you spend more than 1000 on groceries in a month
3) to say you get 8-% is untrue if you spend more than 1333 a month on food elsewhere.
4) to say you get 8-% is untrue if you spend on anything else.
5) there is no spot rate in weekend
6) most likely there is a combination of spending on 2,3,4 which makes the maths quite complicated ie no a no brainer at all unless you type that puts hands over eyes and ears to create calm.
7) due to 1,2,3,4 it is only a nobrainer if you refuse to think through the realities and insist on comparing to the 3.5% Rather than cards that are very close to the interbank market which seems the better option
8) to put it simply with exaggerated example lets look at if you spend 10,000 on it and look at your disappointment when you get less than 90 versus the 900 you believed you will get … but hey you saved 3.5% lol oh wait no whilst true you paid 100 bucks too much on currency compared to revolut oh wait in fact you lost 10 lol even after rebate lol . Lets just be happy we did not pay 350 if we used the card directly lol so yeah you saved that 250 on a 10,000 spend amaze and could have saved that 250 in addition if you used revolut or wise.
Funny how complicated a no brainer situation is when you actually have to face reality.
9) extra credit for experts. …. Incorporate fact folks are seeing rates of 0.15-2.05 in reality to the above

lol, was just saying in general. I get more rebate/rewards than my actual spending, by making the cards work for me.haha true but it just hits the too hard basket for things. Best to just use amaze for groceries or food overseas with citibank and only when you know for sure there is capacity in your monthly spend. The other cashbacks are not rewarding enough to justify use with an erratic non transparent fx and a poorly functioning card. If you find yourself switching cards i do feel you have become a “slave to amaze” rather than a human to large extent. Frankly spending less and being smart and careful with your money is way better than planing your spending around amaze and your own cards rules. - i get more back that way than any rewards.
I iust stopped using amaze and instead choose my direct cards better when i apply them for onshore. Dicking around with amaze taught me a lot about mccs etc so i know how to apply them better now and i gotta thank amaze for that. The 0.5% does not warrent amaze standing in between especially with the risk one fine day the banks will change their rules. i will use revolut offshore cause it is a lot easier to keep track of things and the security is awesome. Very occasionally i will flow a large food bill through amze to citi overseas just to target an easy discount.lol, was just saying in general. I get more rebate/rewards than my actual spending, by making the cards work for me.
yea whichever works better for you.I iust stopped using amaze and instead chose my cards better when i apply them for onshore. To clarify:
Why 350? Just an example? Or because it is the cash withdrawal limit? If you exchange on Thursday to plan for the withdrawal on Saturday, why not just withdraw on Thursday?
not cash advance mcc for long time already. No rewards. Can topup Grab get 1.5%-1.7% and use Grab to (option: topup X to get 1.2% and count to powerup then) topup revolut indirectly get rebate.doesn't revolut have a cash advance mcc that excludes rewards and sometimes costs more?
you guys split spending on 10x different cards just to save the 1% in fx fees then incur 10x more conversion fees for redeeming the points

I pay revolut with scb and citi and 100 transfer every month from bank account to get the 20% mrt rebate. I have not been charged any credit card fees yet. If they do i will switch to 100% bank transfer.doesn't revolut have a cash advance mcc that excludes rewards and sometimes costs more?

But those cards cost you 192 ish to hold each year and have specific requirements themselves. I wager you not saving any real money but instead spending more to try to qualify or don’t truely have 10 cards lolExcludes rewards, yes. But haven't paid any additional fees to to up.
No, I don't split spending on 10x different cards to save the 1% in fx fees. I split spending on 10x different cards to maximise my rewards. Hasn't cost me 10x more conversion fee though. If it is, you're doing something wrong, frankly.
hm it cost nothing to hold cards if u know what u doingBut those cards cost you 192 ish to hold each year and have specific requirements themselves. I wager you not saving any real money but instead spending more to try to qualify or don’t truely have 10 cards lol
Take note this month onwards is $200 to get public transport rebate.I pay revolut with scb and citi and 100 transfer every month from bank account to get the 20% mrt rebate. I have not been charged any credit card fees yet. If they do i will switch to 100% bank transfer.
