Just tried at Shell JB. Still being declined!

I tried shell JB before and it works.
but that was in May. they will hold RM200 and return the balance after 2-3working days.

ok ah, you still get your card points/rebate and can easily caah out from Amaze wallet via grab

I think Instarem had a recent update in Aug 22, and since then, it hasnt worked at Shell

not sure if there is similar observation but i realise that if i'm on a Singtel sim card or a MVNO using Singtel network i can't seem to the OTP page (blank screen) whenever i want to add a new card. been like that for at least over a month.

only way to bypass is to connect to my wifi or change to other telco sim to connect. anyone also noticed?

tried it recently, the difference seems to be about 0.3-0.35% compared to youtrip. So still seems good enough if the linked card gives 1.6% Cashback.

it depends on the merchant mcc

Instarem just replied me that they have whitelisted Shell Malaysia. So should be able to use Amaze card at Shell Malaysia from now on.....

wait for grab to cancel the authorisation.
you can contact grab to cancel the authorisation via app helpdesk.
Once grab side cancel, it will refund to amaze and to ur card within 1 or 2 day

For the Maybank DUO Platinum that gives 5% rebate on all petrol stn in spore and msia classified under mcc 5541 and 5542, it is safe to use it with the amze card to get that rebate?

yes, as Amaze would reflect the same MCC. so provided those station are tagged as 5541 or 5542, you will get your rebate

anyone use Instarem for transferring $ to foreign bank? realised once you add a recipient to your list, you cannot delete the recipient..
