What was a high level ms that has died?

The citi transfer wise?
Or boc you trip?
Lets not digress further on these MS topics (especially dead MS that no need reminder). I think should be back to Instarem discussion again .

I agree, let's move forward, no need to dwell on the past and dig up things again!

Only having 3 cards linked but can't add new card as it shows "You have reached the maximum limit of 5 linked and used cards in a span of 30 days".

Anyone knows how it is counted?

Just did a USD transaction and the spread was 1.9%

I wonder how much they are gonna end up increasing it to

Linked my amaze card to grab paylater, now payment time tot it’s auto deduct from card. But it’s not, they top up to grabpay wallet from card to pay. End up tio charge fees.

Did you compare it to the current Mastercard rate?

https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/personal/get-support/convert-currency.html
They switched to that a few months ago.

Mastercard rates are fast to rise but slow to fall, so we always get bad rates for a while.
I also just did a calculation for SGD - MYR and got a spread of around 1.8%.

Instarem gives 1% rebate, so the fees is at 0.8% net. While one can still get the usual credit card rebates.

EDIT: Just ran through my previous transactions. They seem to have increased the MYR spread from 1.5% to 1.8% now.

i made 2 transactions in USD, one on 7 Mar and another on 8 Mar however both falls on 7 Mar in US. The rates differed alot, spread 1.4% vs 1.8% based on Mastercard rate. Mastercard's rate isnt even showing 8 Mar's rate yet. for the 1.8% spread, that is 2% more than spot rate.

Always to consumer disadvantage, and we can’t do anything about it. They need to earn from somewhere anyway.

The value proposition of Amaze is no longer clear to me. The mark-up is now 1% less than the original credit card's in most instances. Instead of linking a card (which necessarily needs to be a MasterCard) with Amaze, why not just avoid the hassle and use the original credit card (MasterCard OR Visa!) that we have - with bonus categories where available.
