yes already can few months earlier, no reason to though, using the card direct for overseas spend is better than adding to AmazeI am able to add ICBC Global Travel card to Amaze. Wasn't able to before

why not use this card via Amaze for foreign currency online transaction or using Amaze card physically paired with this card? You get better fx rates AND 3% rebate.yes already can few months earlier, no reason to though, using the card direct for overseas spend is better than adding to Amaze
you are applying the fees twice no?It is not worth to do it. Using ICBC Global Travel can get 3% cashback, deduct 2.5% fee, also has +0.5% cashback. Using amaze, you get 1.5% cashback, but amaze's rate includes around 1.8% fee, your actual cashback is -0.3%, even plus 0.5% amaze cashback, only +0.2%

Isn't it better than using this ICBC card directly either online or when overseas?

Eg say USD/SGD now is 1.37. Amaze rate is 1.8% so the rate is 1.394. After ICBC 3% rebate, that rate will be 1.352?
And I getting something wrong?
Before this card, I am pairing with Citibank Rewards which gives only 2.23% cash rebate.
you can try, but i expect them to tell you that it is expected. i stopped using amaze charge to card for transactions that i'm not sure if i will refund in future because of this. if using wallet, the difference is still negligibleIf merchant refund to my amaze card, but it’s $6-$7 short of the original amount charged. Am I able to dispute the fx exchange loss?
Ya I did it twice to check and lost 10plus. Stopped using it ever. Plenty of other options. If merchant refund to my amaze card, but it’s $6-$7 short of the original amount charged. Am I able to dispute the fx exchange loss?
Which credit cards don't give an FX exchange loss on refunds? Whenever I get a refund it normally seems to result in a loss. (Spread/fees etc requires a large FX gain to offset which doesn't usually happen).Ya I did it twice to check and lost 10plus. Stopped using it ever. Plenty of other options.
Its true that other cards probably will have the same effect if u refund. Or not, I'm not sure.Which credit cards don't give an FX exchange loss on refunds?
