My Agoda transaction was blocked this morning at 2am.

I purposedly linked to my uob card yesterday as I was anticipating this deduction from Agoda.

Wrote to instarem they claimed uob blocked the transaction. Havent write to uob as their customer service usually super slow anyway.

Anyone else encounter this before?

Stayed in the call for 30mins before UOB answered, they confirmed that there is maintenance every morning 3 to 5am. But I asked, if I am overseas in the other part of the world which is normal business hour, means my credit card transactions will failed also? The CSO said, so far there is not case reported that there are people having issue with payment at that hour. How irony!

Yes. Amaze with ladies card (tag to the correct category) will earn 6mpd.

Oh ya. The exchange is super bad!! Only 3.40 for ringgit compared to 4.48 internet rate (2.2%!)

If u have an exact 20$ to use, use payment via wallet. Or just transfer to grab, then to bank.
Else will end up with some $ stuck in wallet.

yeah used to xfer to grab.
cant be use to pay CC fee(axs) etc right ?
if so , converting to cash will be best

can be either depending if it is a reversal or credit back
