Still got use for getting 4miles/dollar. If use wallet and get Cashback also better than youtrip. I got revolut metal plan so this rebate thingy is not useful for me.
the rebate/cashback is so little. dun forget there's a 2.1% fee for overseas use too. that will negate the cashback/rebate. i'd earn the 4mpd from local spend.

You are getting mixup, there is no 2.1% fees if using wallet and you get the cash rebate. Amaze wallet rate is the among the best together with revolut, slightly better than Visa and Mastercard rate that you get from some other cards.

Ok my bad. I don’t use wallet feature that’s why. I use direct link to cc/dc, which will incur the 2.1% fee.

How do you earn 4mpd using wallet mode?

You don't earn miles from wallet, you get points from wallet now which can be changed for rebate. You don't get points from credit cards linked so this is the 2 different type of usage. Wallet method is the one that you should compare with other ewallet card like youtrip. There is no benefits from cards like youtrip or wise so they are worse off. Revolut metal plan and trust cards are better so amaze is somewhere in between IMO.

Yah, that's what I used the wallet function for mostly. Haha
In the past don’t even have to link anything

but now you have to link a card.

well can always link a card to an empty account (in addition to turning off the transactions setting)

Ok, so u use the wallet to earn instapoint. This is better than youtrip and normal revolut cos they dun give reward points. For my case, I use Mari card for the 1.5% Cashback which is more direct imo.

Next time if I want to use wallet to store forex, I will consider instarem besides of youtrip and revolut, which I am using now.

I've not used it for a while now, been using heymax instead. I have $0.10 in the wallet to check mcc. Now must use card to check mcc?

Mari card seem good but their FX rate got deadline, until end of this year only so need to keep track.
