When you have lousy leaders, you need to do more tracking and performative reporting.

gov@sg is a good example of waste.

He got hired 3 months ago. The board hire him to cut the fat out if intel. The board expect him to start mass layoff in near future. That's why he got hired.

Broadcom has been practising this for a long time. Every MAC they do, heads roll.
It’s been good for the stock price so i can’t complain.

I bought Intel in anticipation btw.

"As we refocus on engineering, we will also remove organizational complexity. Many teams are eight or more layers deep, which creates unnecessary bureaucracy that slows us down."

8 layers jin deep mens... infantry regiment onri ish 5 or 6 layers nia?

1. man
2. section leader
3. platoon sgt/commander
4. CSM/OC
5. RSM/CO
6. Brigade
7. Division
8. ???

So, no, it is even deeper bureaucracy. And the last one has most of it.

You can name as much companies as you like. The US government have the finial say if the purchase can go through.

Another tech company buying won't happen. The US regulators will block any purchase or merger between intel and another tech company. It's why Microsoft which benefits them the most didn't take over intel.

A non-tech company can take over intel but why?
Conversely, Intel could split, just like Warner Bros Discovery.

Spin-off the less profitable BU and call it something else then let the CFO runs it as a CEO...

depends on context, just look at sg parliament

but fewest is also probably not the right word

maybe get the most done with the best competent ppl
Haha, our mayors are quite competent huh ?!?

Our ministries ~ eg. transportation are highly admired & great reputation among the world ?!?

Yes that's an option for the new CEO.

Hector Ruiz AMD CEO took AMD out of a death spiral by splitting AMD into two parts. AMD and Global Foundry.

The CEO that came after Hector Ruiz used the free up resources to rebuild AMD. Now AMD is twice as big as Intel and using less resources than intel.

AMD is on their third generation AI chip while intel just recently put their first generation out.
