I did a FAST dbs bank transfer to my ibkr trading account, but forgot to add in my trading number.. money not in till now. What can i do?

Previously , money will be in within an hour as i had entered the account number.

Lucky thing that you have transferred before and they should have record to do the mapping.

but because without the account number, it’s likely they have to do manual verification just to make sure there’s no error.

Did you create a deposit notification? If you haven’t, suggest you do, as it will make it obvious that it was an intentional deposit.

Also, worth raising a ticket to inform them. Provide as many details as possible.

other than that you can only wait.

Morning received an email from them stating that there is a pending amount intended for my account. Just need to create a deposit notification to them , else they will refund the amount.

Within minutes, the amount is in already.

i think now with myinfo for registration should be faster.

now without the inactivity fee will be good

p.s: the reason i asked is because years ago, MAS has a rule that singaporean residing in singapore have to use local brokers to trade SGX stocks.

If you open an IB account now it will be under IBSG entity so yes

You lucky have US IB, the margin rates are cheaper than the SG one! :|

IBKR is a bunch of *****. They give restriction.. you kena assigned shares, you die, your business.

Yup i am using for US stocks with $1 comm. but I dont like the UI hard to understand as compared to others. Sometimes the values will go blank and need to refresh. Yesterday made a trade and order not found in the history although it went through lol

Agreed. UI is quite complex compared to other platform.

Web&mobile are the ones I use. But like I said - there are cryptocurrency exchanges which have better web & ui exchanges lmao

everytime whenever i recve a notification from ibkr (in email) i dont dare to click in!!!!!!!

Fortunately (& unfortunately) my most expensive and impt investmt are all in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The website. Maybe it only applies to ACH transfer then. So the fastest deposit/withdrawal is within hours? Both the same?
