The Mandalorian, Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew May Have Character Crossovers

The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau has confirmed while adjacent series Ahsoka and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will largely be doing their own thing, character crossovers are still possible.

This information comes courtesy Seif Zaki, who was in attendance at Empire VIP's celebration of The Mandalorian, which featured Favreau himself as a special guest. During the event, Favreau stated that The Mandalorian Season 4 has already been written, and that Doug Chiang has begun working on concept art. Favreau also confirmed that Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew -- which are set in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian -- are both in post-production. He further stated that Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew may have character crossovers, despite being standalone Star Wars stories.

At this stage, it's too early to tell which characters from which shows will cross over into other shows as Star Wars' Mandalorian sub-franchise carries forward. However, Favreau previously confirmed that Skeleton Crew characters would not appear in The Mandalorian's fast-approaching third season, so that's at least one potential combination ruled out for the time being. This would also seem to confirm that while Skeleton Crew is set in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian, it is not a direct spinoff.

In contrast, Ahsoka is a direct spinoff of The Mandalorian (as well as a sequel to the animated series Star Wars Rebels). Rosario Dawson debuted as the live-action version of fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2, subsequently reprising the role in the spinoff limited series The Book of Boba Fett. However, seeing as how Ahsoka's solo series reportedly takes her beyond the reaches of the known Star Wars galaxy, it remains to be seen if she'll be able to return to The Mandalorian in time for Season 3. It also remains to be seen if there will be opportunities for Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew to bypass their mothership show altogether and simply cross over with each other.

The Star Wars Universe Is Ever-Expanding

Of course, it has long been known that Lucasfilm's small-screen Star Wars franchise was building to a climactic crossover event. Originally, the tent-poles were meant to be The Mandalorian, Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic. However, Rangers of the New Republic has since been shelved, with its story ideas being folded into The Mandalorian itself. Meanwhile, Skeleton Crew remains something of a wild card as far as the so-called "Favreau-Verse" is concerned, though fans can likely expect to learn more about Jon Watts and Christopher Ford's Star Wars series -- and its place in the overall franchise -- in the coming months.

The Mandalorian Season 3 premieres on Disney+ on March 1. Ahsoka and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew are both expected to premiere on the platform later this year.

Sci-Fi Horror Series ‘FROM’ Renewed for Season 3 at MGM+ [Exclusive]

The horror sci-fi series ‘FROM’ has got an advanced Season 3 renewal from Epix, now renamed MGM+. The series is yet to return with Season 2 on the streamer, and even though no trailer has been revealed a premiere date has already been set. Note: The news comes from sources close to the production and the renewal is not yet been officially announced by MGM+.

‘FROM’ Season 2 will premiere on April 23, 2023, on MGM+, and it seems like while Season 2 would be airing, the third season will enter into production. FROM Season 3 is currently scheduled to begin filming in May in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and will wrap up in October 2023. So, it seems early 2024 may bring the third Season as well.

Created by John Griffin and produced by Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. Jack Bender will return in Season 3 to also direct a few episodes.

FROM is a co-production between EPIX Studios and MGM International Television Productions. Alongside Pinkner, Griffin, and Bender, serving as executive producers are Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg from Midnight Radio, Anthony and Joe Russo, and Mike Larocca from AGBO and Lindsay Dunn. Midnight Radio’s Adrienne Erickson serves as co-executive producer

In Season 2, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. The first season ended with the arrival of a passenger bus full of new visitors, who like everyone, seems to be lost.

The show has already confirmed the actor who will be playing these visitors. The new cast members will be Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, AJ Simmons, and Deborah Grover. Scott McCord, who recurred as Victor in Season 1, will be regular in Season 2. The new cast members will join Harold Perrineau, who leads the ensemble cast that includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Elizabeth Saunders, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Moy, and Avery Konrad.

Black Bird Season 2: Confirmed or Canceled?

Black Bird Season 2 has not been confirmed yet. We expect that it will soon be confirmed because there is a massive chance of the announcement of Black Bird Season 2.

At the end of the first season of the series Black Bird, we have seen that in the aftermath of a prison riot, Larry, as well as Jimmy, search with time in order to find more about each other.

After that, Jimmy’s mounting fear, as well as paranoia, compel him to provoke Larry. Later, Miller, as well as McCauley, have a breakthrough. Larry’s therapist grows concerned. Let’s see what happens next.

We expect that the story of the first season of the series Black Bird will be continued in the second season of the series Black Bird

'Fire Country' Renewed for Season 2 at CBS

Things are going well in Fire Country. CBS announced that the firefighter drama will return for a second season after becoming broadcast television's most-viewed new series. Executive produced by ten-time Emmy-winning television giant Jerry Bruckheimer, the series centers on Seal Team's Max Thieriot who plays a young convict named Bode Donovan seeking redemption, and a shorter sentence, by joining the prison release firefighting program. The program pairs inmates up with veteran firefighters to battle the unpredictable and deadly wildfires of Northern California.

season 1 October 7, 2022
