Hi guys, I'm getting a gift for a friend, a headphone actually. She works in a recording studio, and uses her headphone for long hours. She's been complaining that her ears hurt from wearing them for long hours.

I'm totally clueless about such stuff.. So.. What kind of headphone should I be looking at? I suppose since she uses them in a recording studio, the headphone should be good enough to hear human voices..? Correct me if I'm wrong..

Any intros? (oh yea, I'm planning for a budget of max $200..) Thanks alot guys..

Not too sure, but if budget isn't an issue, then I'd suggest the Senns HD600 (since it's female vocals you're listening to), and a Darkvoice337 for a tubeamp.

am new to this section. So hows the quality compared to the real thing? more and more aunties wearing monster beats, probably fakes too?

probably. one of the giveaways would be the wires.

some fakes really look like rubber bands.

beats are more of a fashion statement nowadays rather than audio gear. most ppl i know get them just for the looks, and couldnt really care less if it sounds good or sounds crap

I am looking for a white colored headphone to match my new white digital piano. Are they specialized headphones for digital piano? If not, any recommendation for white colored headphones? Thanks!

Hi, could anyone help me on this, I'm looking for a pair of headphones. I'm new with this and have never gotten myself one. I'm not really a musical purist and I have no specific genres I prefer listening to.

I do enjoy music with a good bass and definitely appreciate music being play loudly without distortion. I can't tolerate interferences like the hissing sound that many have reviewed to be having.

The qualities I must have in my headphones though are:
1) Wireless/bluetooth
2) Aesthetically fine looking / at least solid looking in built
3) Must be comfortable/covering ears and not resting on em'

I've been a fan of Sennheiser and was looking at the 500x but the reviews kinda rated them down. Making a research, I'm attracted to the Parrot Zigs but again read up about a lot of problems with regards to oversensitivity and am worried about whether or not its actually comfortable. Another model I'm looking at is the Logitech UE 9000. I don't wanna overpay for a product but don't exactly have a budget set.
I use it for my ipad/iphone and would mainly be for watching movies and listening to music.

P.S. Would prefer if it is purchasable from a shop that offers credit card installment.

Looking forward to help and many thanks in advance =)

I am in the same situation as you... Considering the Bose QC15.
Although been around for awhile but the price ($599) did not reduce.
Is there a prior review on this ? Please advise. Thanks.

The Bose QC15 is known to do its job very well - for reviews wise I would say its noise cancelling its one of the best, do read up a more detailed review here.

Brief points to take note of:
- Great noise cancelling function
- Strong in bass
- Lightweight and comfortable
- Great battery life up to 35 hours via AAA battery
