I know Zotac provides 5 year warranty. I have a rtx 3070 build from Aftershock bought in 2020, 5 years not up yet but aftershock diagnosed my pc say gpu got issue, asked me top up $399 to replace gpu with Intel arc B580.

kinda angry and hope they can do something like RMA my gpu with Zotac or something, since the pc and gpu is bought as a set from aftershock.

Wrong. Zotac warranty are 3 yrs. You only get 5 yrs if you register your warranty with Zotac within 28 days of getting your Zotac card.

You really had bad luck with the company.

A friend of mine just wanted to get a pre-built but didn't want Aftershock after suffering horrible customer service previously so told him about Invader PC.

He got a pre-built but custom order with his favorite HYTE Y70 case, custom liquid cooler choice, custom all white build with a 5090. He mentioned the communication with the invader pc team was quick and smooth. He received updates about his PC built through whatsapp and got it delivered in 3 days to his door step.
The price was good also. I tried calculating the price and it cost cheaper than buying parts at SLS and build himself. That was last month.
After 2 weeks, one of his Lian-Li ARGB fans had no more RGB. Known issue with Lian-Li fans. I went with him to help him send the PC back to invader service centre because it was rather large and heavy. They brought it into the back and got it fixed within 30 mins or so and we brought it back to him place. Very impressed. No other issues after that.

Also when he received his PC, i went to his place to check it out. I checked bios settings and checked benchmarks, temperatures and they did everything right. The cable management was also really good.

Other time, another friend's Aftershock PC had issue where a fan on his liquid cooler has died, we brought it to Aftershock at 1.30 pm. We asked if we can wait to collect later in the evening on the same day because only 1 fan need to be replaced. But the front desk lady told us it'll take 5 working days and we need to leave the PC behind. Gave us a service slip and told us come collect another day. We already left the place and went home. Then at 5.30pm same day, he got email that his PC can be collected. Sadly won't make it there unless he rush down so had to collect another day. It's hard to take leave to go back again during office hour to collect la.

Edit: I am not saying Invader PC is good or bad, but at least their service center got things repaired fast instead of telling us to come another day to collect for a simple fan replacement.
Good for your friend but I am speaking on my own personal experience which was atrocious. It is up to others whether they want to gamble

I see. Ok anyway I just registered my new 2x 5080 from last week. Thought Aftershock can help in some way.

Update:
Btw they provided me a goodwill replacement for my Zotac 3070 with refurbished Gigabyte 4060ti card. So better than nothing and good service. PC bought somewhere in 2020, so now 2025 4 years + not bad.

Enquired about the zotac 5090 warranty with them, they told me that the card is only covered for 3 years and do not qualify for 5 years zotac warranty as it is an oem model. I think all along has been like that so wouldn't have mattered if you tried to register cause the sku doesn't even fall under the 5 year warranty.

Believe it’s still 5, check with Zotac directly. My 3070 gpu 4 years + le got swapped out for refurbished gigabyte 4060ti at no charge. Perhaps it’s goodwill by Aftershock

Is not OEM card. :s22:
Techyard is under Aftershock, don't tell me they are selling OEM cards. :s13:
Aftershock most parts are from Tech Dynamic, the only difference is the warranty.
Cuz Aftershock parts usually must go back to them but not distro.

The 5 years wise if they pass you the box and the registration warranty card.
You can try to register but this have to be done upon purchase for what I understand.
If pass certain time period you won't be able to register for 5 years warranty.

You can try if have registration warranty card see if Zotac themselves honor the warranty.

Just confirmed, Zotac cards from Techyard/Aftershock comes with 5 yrs (3+2) warranty. You need to register within 28 days to get the extra 2 yrs warranty once you collected your card from Techyard/Aftershock. Else, you only will have standard 3 yrs warranty.

OEM? What? This company really is a laughing stock.. ☠️

More like the registration date for the card they passed to you already gone past the warranty registration deadline and they simply used it as an excuse to fool you.

I don't think they register the card for you. If you buy from techyard, it should be the date you receive the card.

Yeah, most likely this is the case, either the person responding to the question is dumb or they have a few fishy cases behind the scenes :s13:
