i did OTA update this early morning (1 am).
Not sure if you guys know that, if your phone has not enough space, it will suggest to uninstall apps like Numbers, etc. to free space and reinstall back once IOS10 is installed.

Had 1Gb left on ios9, now have around 2+Gb on ios10

Nah, just leave it.
Or you could choose reset all settings.
The space should optimise by itself!

Whenever there's a notification (whatsapp), I can't tap on it to launch the app. I can only 3D Touch it to 'reply mode' den either tap to launch the app or reply. Is it same for everyone?

There are 3 emoji that doesn't stay with the colour I choose. They return to the gold skin

there was an update to whatsapp have u updated? also try killing e app from e multitasking tray n launch again. my whatsapp doesn't exhibit yr symptoms...

Found out that the latest itunes that boss updated was corrupted on Windows. Hence ipad mini keep saying it is not charging.

Need to reinstall whole iTunes again.

Nope, iOS should manage by it's own. There shouldn't be anything you're required to do.

If you use iCloud library. Make sure to select optimise storage space.

are you on I7?

ios 10, especially the HOME BUTTON, is designed for i7.
