my rule of thumb is dun install a beta on a daily driver.

Out of curiosity, can I bring a public beta firmware installed iPhone for the battery replacement program? Will they reject it because of the public beta firmware installed?

From what I’ve known or experience is that they wouldn’t accept as its running a beta software.

Probably due to them needing to run the diagnostic test first before taking it in and it will either be an inaccurate test or the ‘report’ is not supported for iOS 12.

Plus GPS (and the coordinates) would sometimes be inaccurate.

they wouldn't accept if their tool for the diagnostics hasn't been updated to support iOS 12 yet. and that means, iOS 12 public testers will need to revert to public release.

Likewise, devices taken in running beta will be loaded with official public release when collecting.

so for now, no one knows if their tool has been updated or not..

You will need to delete the iOS 11 public beta profile, download and reinstall the iOS 12 public beta profile.
