iTunes has been dropped by Apple so there won’t be iTunes Wifi Sync anymore.

In the MacOS update. MacOS Catalina dropped iTunes. It is now called Apple Music and iphone syncs via MacOS native file browser called finder.

In essence. iTunes is no more. iCloud backup is the way now.

err u can still backup locally using Finder in Catalina.

It is. But having to plug in the device again and again. Pass.

Plus Storage space in MacBooks to back up iPhones and iPads does not scale well.
