It has been said like Apple already had iOS 13 GM ready and possibly installed on the new iPhones that are in production.

So now we are kinda continuing to test iOS 13 but as a 13.1 version.

They are testing new features for 13.1

Might have a chance. If it’s iOS 13.1 it should be 17b and not a.

Also cannot reply to Whatsapp messages directly from notifications. It just freezes.

Not sure we should be seeing more fixes or more bugs by now.

I am trying to say that after updating to iOS 13.1 dev beta, are we able to receive iOS 13 GM build on 10th Sept or after Apple event? We might continue to get iOS 13.1 dev beta 2, 3 or more? Or can we still able to get iOS 13 GM build?

Just doubled checked with Apple and their documentation. It seems this is really a 13.1

I think Apple's just going to image the last beta of iOS 13 onto the new iPhones already

They will then release iOS 13.1 by the time people get them on September 20

The GM build generally release 1 week before the everyone get it, typically after Apple event. But now Apple released iOS 13.1 dev beta 1, so just wondering if iOS 13 GM or iOS 13.1 beta 2/3 which of them will appear in our device as our profile is still under beta software profile.

I wouldn’t update to 13.1 beta just in case it isn’t actually gonna be released with the new phones. Your iCloud backups cannot be restored to the new phones when you get them on launch day if they only come with 13.0 and if 13.1 is not released at at that time.
