Downgraded my iTunes to 12.0.1 when I had to restore from backup without losing JB last week (Semi-restore).

So old iTunes can do that way or have to do long winded way of clean restore for 8.4?

just do a clean restore la dun be lazy
i had download ipsw for 8.4 going to restore later

When I was on JB iOS 8.1.2, I just update to 8.3 using iTunes. No errors. iOS updated and all data remained, just JB gone. Then I just used taig 2.1.3 to JB ios8.3.
iOS 8.4 cannot do same way?

No problem here, I've JB 4 idevices, all okay with AppStore updates.

Did update my JB 8.3 iPhone 6+ using iTunes to 8.4 (backup first).
Then directly JB again with Taig 2.2.
All ok.

Just that activator not compatible with 8.4. So have to wait for updated version before installing. Current ver 1.9.3 will crash springboard.

I have no problem jailbreaking iOS 8.3 using taig v2.2.0
Only when I upgrade to ios8.4 and jailbreak using
Taig v2.2.0
Then I have this problem
Might be then as I use taig 2.2.0 to jailbreak which problem occur
Cause at that time the latest taig is only at 2.2.0
It might be when use with taig v2.3.0 it solve the issue of getting stuck at 60 %

I also got stuck at 60% for so many try...till I manually reboot the phone when it prompt to restart and rest is ok
