To me, speed is subjective as each ad blocker only differs by about 1-3 seconds. What is more important is whether or not the developer is committed to the ad blocker in the long run and whether he/she will sell out to "acceptable ad" companies.

No point having the fastest ad blocker in the world when it only blocks 50% of the ads.
