For people complaining for lagginess on the iPhone 6 Plus, I don't think there's going to be any fix since it only has 1gb of ram which is a compelling reason for me to start thinking of upgrading to 6s Plus barely a year after getting the 6 Plus.

Dont you feel like everytime after a IOS major upgrade.. the phone lags?

are the phonemakers forcing people to upgrade the phone by purposely introducing some lag to make pple feel irritated? hahaha

Somemore 6+ to 6s+ is like what? mid upgrade only..1year plus

really damn **

9.0.2 is now available..

I think 6+ to 6s+ upgrade not really worth the upgrade. If u only take and view rear camera photos on phone and nowhere else, there is little discernible difference when view from the screen. Unless u are a selfie junkie.

3D Touch and live pictures hardly if ever used. No split screen option for phones so for me 2gb ram only useful for not having to reload webpages.

I'll wait for 9.1 or 9.2 before commenting... after every upgraded iOS release it takes a couple of months before all the bugs are ironed out.

Even before iOS 9 I already feel the 6 Plus lack of ram. I noticed safari pages reloading themselves very frequently, apps are closing and restating themselves when you barely opened any other apps. Sometimes when I have 3-4 tabs opened in safari, I open another app, after that return to safari and every tab will refresh again, costing battery life and data. So it's a hardware issue due to the jump in resolution to 1080p. My iPad Air 2 with 2gb ram certainly does not do that even with a higher resolution.

Never noticed that on my 6+ running 8.4.1; could it be a safari issue? I never use safari - it's slow compared to mercury which I use as my default browser.

It's not only safari. Apps are not being kept opened and are always restarted when I go back to the app after opening some other apps.

all along its been like that. noticed since the 3gs and 4 days with the 4 running so fast on ios 4 but 3gs lags with the same ios

my opinion is dont upgrade unless u really want the new features. the phone is only optimised with the stock ios that shipped with it
