Christmas archer as in Green Elf? Then easy lo. Just need to make sure you keep the bosses stunned using green elf

farm 3* char
then train till 4.
if not what you wanted.
rinse repeat.
but progression wise quite slow though

regardless u have to farm new heroes anyway. if you want to level up skills, some requirements require certain heroes or a number of heroes for that class. so its a good thing to farm regardless!

i myself farm until very long before i even head into hardmode

see any stage with 3* char lo.
mostly i choose those lower usage on meat. so i can train the noobs + farm also

I got 4* jirapang and mew to promote as well as 4* leon and a 3* wizard to promote too, seriously lacking honor

if i lvl up the skill hor, i must transfer the skill again to get the lvl 2 skill?

my wizard promote to Archon, i was using the 2block skill, then after promote, i lvl up the skill bcome lvl 2, but i see left hand side is still lvl 1.

Yes need to transfer again. That's why I usually wait till its lv4 before transferring again
