Both. But since the update kicked in, Prince not effective that much.

got prince not bad but i want the baby dragon

Even if do upgrade for common card also dunno need to grind how long. Lvl 7 need 200, lvl 8 need 400 cards. See youtube they open super magical chest one shot get few hundreds so can upgrade easily
