Ask the users what's their SSID.
Cannot contain any numbers or symbol; e.g. "abc" can but "abc123" or "abc1!" cannot...

how to change the SSID?

i have 4 sets at home it connect but 1 of the camera keep drop off connection "Check your network connection" and that set was nearest to the router

Why Miapp locale need to be changed?

Hi Guys,

Whats the rationale for setting the locale to china for Xiaomi Ipcam? My other Xiaomi products doesn't require that change. What the diff with setting the locale to Sg and also China?

Tnx

I think if u set it to SG, there's no ability to add Dafang cameras right? Let me know if I'm wrong.

I have my dafang on Mainland server, and roborock vacuum on Singapore

I wonder other than Mainland China, is there any other server that supports Dafang?

I want to have my Roborock vacuum and Dafang camera (and Xiaomi scooter, and xiaomi ebike, and xiaomi air purifier, and car purifier etc hahaha) on the same server if possible.

Anyone tried India etc?

I got a Dafang Camera connected to my Mijia. Have to set to China as location. However I don’t have any SD card in it. I manage to get recording for days on the video recorded when there is motion detection on the Mijia app. When I check my mi cloud, my free 5gb never get used up. Anybody know where are the videos stored? I have a mi phone, but not using it anymore, using iPhone via Mijia app to access the cam.

i change my ssid to letters only but still always got this

idLXBL

https://ibb.co/idLXBL

some times can view most of the time can't

isit a camera issue or network problem?

As with all electronics, reboot by turning on and off the power. In this case, unplug the USB and reinsert, then see if have the issue again.

If still have same issue, hit the "..." button at the top right corner, go General Settings, and then see Network Info.

If your RSSI is < 40, that usually means network issue; wifi connection not strong enough, not stable.

I have 3 Xiaofang cameras and have been using for about 1 year+ now. Recently, 1 of the cam is not showing any display even though the camera is online. The other 2 cameras are working perfectly. This morning after reading some comments I decided to delete the device and add it on the MiHome app again. Not only did the camera could not work, the other 2 cameras decided not to work as well. Anyone facing the same issue?

Hi, I just purchased a Dafang today. So far it's great. Watching in real time the roaches and lizards fighting in my backyard on my iphone. The Phone is getting hot though. Am wondering if it is possible to watch it on my PC instead(windows 10). Thanks in advance
