1 more thing to note is the new air comes with 20w charger as compared to 18w in the pro series
doubt there's any significant difference 18w vs 20w

The default chargers are a joke, can’t even do fast charging. I never even bother taking them out of the box. I use my Satechi 108W charger for everything

Lol same. Gan charger from hypershop for me.
How much faster ah for charging iPad Pro?

Lol pointless for using 108W to charge your iPad Pro since iPad can only receive a maximum 30W so the included 20W is sufficient for the iPad Air.
Why is it after 12th October?Yeah definitely, as both iPads share the same 28.6Wh battery. The question is how much more energy efficient is the iPad Air compared to the 11" iPad Pro? Only with hands-on/benchmark tests, we will truly find out the battery/performance gap between the two. It's still too early to tell. iPad Air is expected to be launched after 12th October so you may need to wait a bit for hands-on in-depth comparisons.

that is my plan too - to get ipad pro instead of air4. But now i am still waiting for iphone 12's news to be released before making my decision to buy.
Why does an iPhone 12 release got to do with your decision to purchase an iPad now?
no money? only have $ for one gadget.
Will it be out tomorrow? Just wondering
