Says shipping in 3-5 days now, buy the time it gets here, it'll be abt a week already. I'm also waiting for the mini 4 to be available in stores here.

A thing to note when buying online. If there are any cosmetic blemishes on the unit, exchanging for one can be really 'lay chay' as compared to buying from the shop direct. Well, as of now online buying may be faster than waiting for the product to eventually reach the stores but it's a gamble between getting it first and having a problematic unit.

My mini 2 was ordered online on launch day but fortunately was ok. Mini 4 wise, I plan to buy it when available at Nubox/Epicentre as I can buy the screen protector and case together with it.

If you buy from physical store, return home and find a defective product, you have to go to AASP and if they can't fix it they will give you a refurbish one?

If you order online and the product is defective you can request a 1-to-1 up to 14 days?

Yes. Local stores don't do one to one exchange at all. I bought one from a store and I was told that any issue I would have to go to the apple service center, which, as far as I know, doesn't offer one to one exchange, but will try to repair your set. Will only give you a refurbish one if they can't fix the problem.

True about the exchanging/returning of the product. But if buy from store they'll open it up and let you check on the spot. Last time my first gen mini was like that but fortunately, none of any Apple products I buy have such defects.

As of now, Apple online store is being updating again.

Update: As of today, the mini 4 is still not available in local stores yet, and Apple online store has reduced to 2-4 business days for shipping.

It only makes sense for the iPad Mini 4 to be in shops on 17th July guys. Think again. iOS 9 is only available on 17th for us too. iPad Mini 4 ships with iOS 9.

They have to keep something exclusive to the iPhone because it makes up 60% of their sales.

Yeah still waiting for it to arrive in stores and after this together with iPhone 6S Plus, I've completed my Apple gadgets 'upgrade program' for this year.
