was quoted $550 for a replacement from apple

top up $$250 more for Mini 7
but no physical SIM card

no oled as well
was really tempted by iPad Air 11”
but 11” cannot fit into my pocket

For my daily use
I’m using the 100mb free data sim

But when i travel
I always replace it with
a higher data SIM card

mini 6 or 7?
Or mini 6 + iPad Air?

no pt to spend such amount to get a old device mini 6.

mini 7 is using newer processor which can last u easily more than 5 years at least while mini 6 the most left 2 to 3 years before it becomes unusable.

Unless there's something new otherwise, likely next year 2026, or 2027 then new iPad Mini liao.
Just refreshed last year, cannot be so fast come out new one.

Something new or just having what others have but integrating it better and making it actually useful and functional will be great.

Hopefully Apple's AI really comes into play and is at least minimally on par or even better than what's in the market by then.
