Ipad mini 7

I am planning to get a ipad pro 11 inch. Planning the switch after a long time android tab usage. In my previous iPad (think iPad 9) my frequent used apps Shopee, Lazada and all were just an iPhone app with an option to zoom. So most of the apps were poorly scaled and not full screen. Is it still the same?

Only Shopee app still can’t scale to full screen, either on iPad mini 7 or iPad Pro 11 inch. Lazada, Taobao and even AliExpress all can scale to full screen.

because the screen not oled? tbh i use ipad mini more now lol. Indeed the screen not as nice and no promotion but is so compact. mostly i game on ipad mini more and watching vid and work at ipad pro.

Other than not oled, the bezel also very thick loh

I have been using this for the past 1 month and got to say, apart from its portability as I travel for work , it's easy to carry and use . but when comes to work, I had a hard time finding the Magic Keyboard for it, often substitute with Logitech instead

The only gripe about the ipad mini i have is the esim. I subscribed to eight esim but since i cannot receive sms, i cannot log on to their portal to find out how much data i have used. Esp when roaming. Basically anything that need sms for verification will have an issue. Anyone managed to find a work around? Thanks!

you should have signed up their data only plan, data plan can only receive otp via email.

Not sure on shoppe and laz i dont have it on me, but on instargram there is a zoom button.

for instagram if you log in via web on safari then "add to home screen", it will scale alot better that the app itself.

those neighbourhood phone shop should be able to lor.

but look, the purpose of having those protection is for protection right. usually cheap and protection doesn't go together.

also. such items are quite low value. doesn't make sense to travel halfway across the island just to save $2, when the cost of transport might already be more than that right.

I bought a cheap case from Shopee for about $13 for my iPad mini 7. Doesn’t feel like it could give good protection but it’s lightweight makes daily use a joy.

personally i dun like to use iphone app on ipad even it can be scaled... not native...

i still use shopee and lazada app on iphone only.. but glad that facebook app etc.. there is ipad version...

I use this kind of clear case for my iPad mini 7. It functions like the case on iPhone which it protects from drop at the same I do not need to flip open every time comparing to those flip type of case.

I am using GOMO and there is an app that allows me to check the usage on my iPad.
