iPad Mini - Issue

1, I did a first full charge using original charger & cable. Charging stopped at 88%. I reset charger power, battery still stuck at 88%. I reboot ipad and charge again, now then I see the battery is charging to 100%

2, Once in a blue moon, I see the screen blink. Saw it 3 times already.

Updated: iPad mini white 16gb from Apple store.

My white mini's screen is whiter than my old iPad1.

Could be adhesive not dry yet.
Let it run full time for a few days and see how it goes.

Thrn I turned off and charged..
Can get to 100%..

Will charge again tonight to see how..

I bought from harvey norman on launch day..
Any idea whether got 1 to 1 exchange?

Could be charger issue.. whole box exchange

Haha u all got diff prob mine worst ... wifi problem.. sometimes says connect but cant even surf got to reboot than reconnect than can surf... hiaz... that wat we get when we are the pioneers of ipad mini...

anyone got same problem with tethering too? cant connect sometimes?

Well, managed to solve my battery drain issue after upgraded to iOS 6.0.1.

For me, is the iCloud causing the issue. Delete the iCloud account (on both my iPhone 4 and iPad Mini). Waited a few hours, enable back the iCloud account. But this time round, am using the "@icloud.com" instead of "@me.com".

Watched a few 720p youtube videos and only used 1% of the iPad Mini juice Hope for the best!

I've upgraded both - iPad Mini and iPhone 4 - no issue.

Not sure if it's anything to do with the upgrading process, as this time round I did it through iTunes rather than OTA as I only knew about the higher version while doing a backup.

I wonder too, why does such a problem hit only some users and not across the board. Good info to know so we can all avoid it.

I was having the charging 88% issue also. I restart the iPad mini and charge again, it will reach 100%. So far hit once. I was searching this forum to see anyone have this issue 3days ago. Now I start to see I'm not alone.

Btw, my wife tell me she say the iPad mini blink also.

1 to 1 @ Harvey Norman..

the sales guy told me i am the first to complain about the 88% charging thing..
anyway my old iPad mini also had a speck of dust under the screen..
so lucky can do 1 to 1 exchange

Ipad mini when connected to wifi hotspot( from my note 2)..
The connection is damn weak.. although shows connected but god damn slow..
Smtimes cant even load a website.

Hi, how's your new set? Anymore charging issue? Mine hit the second time. It will stop at 89% then I off the power and in again, it will show 92% immediately and resume charging.
