is this issue 88% battery issue occurs after updating to 6.0.1 ?

have you guys actually try draining your battery to a device shutdown then do a full 100% charge to recycle the battery ? why not try that 1st before taking the trouble to send in for exchange.

Tried. My first charge from 2% > 88%

tried ? not this way i guess,it should be full drain till shutdown by itself then charge it to 100% full without pluging out in the process to calibrate the battery to show accurate battery reading.

i have the same problem with my 2x iPad 1 when i 1st bought it but after calibration the "problem" is gone.

Hi, how's your new set? Anymore charging issue? Mine hit the second time. It will stop at 89% then I off the power and in again, it will show 92% immediately and resume charging.

I have only charged my iPad mini twice since the exchange and it has been charging to 100%

Wonder if its any apps causing the issue or is it ios6.01

I have resisted updating to the new firmware..
Now still using ios6

Mine have no issues of charging, im also staying on ios6, not updating to 6.0.1 yet..

The update doesn't affect the iPad mini is I am not wrong..

For those who have problems, try use another lightning cable if you have. I plug onto an existing lightning cable stuck at 88%, another cable can go beyond 88%. hmm..

Ok, will try. I am using my iPhone 5 lightning cable for my iPad 4 and iPad Mini.

Last night drain my ipad Mini battery to 7%, then charge it using the ipad cable with adapter and I forget and accidentally charge it using the 2A iPad charger. It shot up to 100%..

yes mine have one small scratch near the power button.

i just realised my ipad mini charged till 90% and it won't charge. i unplug the lightning cable (without turning the power off) and plug it into my iphone 5 directly, my iphone 5 also won't charge. however, if i were to turn the power off the power, followed by switching it on again, the iphone start charging. Repluging it into the ipad mini, it continue to charge again. :/ any1 with this issue or have a solution?

I believe it is an hardware issue.

it seems to me the adapter is the culprit.
