Somehow it's a 'known' prob. I ever encountered once when I leave it charging overnight. I think cos the charger too hot, den kinda like shut down to cool off. And I was using iPhone 5 charger.

Hi guys, just to share, i had the same issue during the first charge using the supplied charger. But after i used my wife new ipad charger, i never had that problem since. Also had bought a cheapo charger at funan of 2.1A output, also no issues.

I bought a iPad mini on launch.. Charging stopped at 88%.. Went to do a one to one exchange within 7 days.. My "2nd" iPad mini had no charging issues..

Subsequently, I got a iPad mini with cellular and so far so good charging to 100%..

But we can safely conclude its a charger problem given the feedback here..
Hope Apple can do a charger replacement for all affected..

but some of the members here can charge till 100% without any issue eg no need aircon room or what...

anyway i tried charging with ipad charger and indeed it has no problem...lucky it is really not my ipad mini problem, most likely adapter....

can we just change adapter with the retailer?
any bros here done it before?

encountered same issue of charging only to 90% for the past few charge cycle, reported to Apple who advised to do hard reset without solving the problem. Brought to office and used Ipad charger, no issue to 100%.

Called Apple and requested a replacement of charger adaptor which they agreed to do...

Hi all,

just got my ipad mini cellular from starhub today with multisim service. The sim card get activate but i can't connect to internet and I don't see any 3G or 4G logo beside starhub signal. Customer services said sim card already activated and backend reset their services but still no luck.

I have try change the apn, reset network setting, turning on/off LTE and restarted the mini many time with no help. Connected the mini to my house wifi without any issue.

Anyone having this issue? Starhub going to check with backend again and get back to me in the morning.

Thanks.

I noticed a white speck of dust underneath my ipad mini screen. Yet my ipad mini was brand new out of a sealed box. *sad*

Just bought the mini 3 days back.
1st charge for 10hours (overnite) stopped at 90%

I disconnected it and use the mini for the day till battery dropped to 55%. Then I charged it again and this time, it went to 100%

Phew...

Same as mine when I first bought it but stuck at 95% instead. Second charge then back to 100% too.
