I just received my Logitech Combo Touch today. Some points in comparison to my previous Slim Folio Pro.
1. On first use and connection of the Combo Touch, it prompts to download an app called 'Logitech Control', in which it just have a toggle button for receiving notification when a new firmware for the keyboard is available. On Slim Folio Pro, it's just pairing on first connection via BT and snap onto the magnetic strip on the keyboard to turn the keyboard on and off.
2. Overall built is solid and definitely feels better on the fabric material on Combo Touch. On Slim Folio Pro, it's a type of synthetic material in which over a period of use, will become 'loose' and have some wavy creases on the edges.
3. Definitely slimmer and lighter overall.
4. Smart Connector vs BT connection, eliminates the need to charge the keyboard, which is a factor of the thicker keyboard on Slim Folio Pro due to internal battery.
5. Detachable keyboard which is REALLY useful when playing games and handholding while reading, compared to folding the entire keyboard behind which adds to the bulk.
6. On Slim Folio Pro, the Pencil is secured via a magnetic flap which also closes the case. On Combo Touch, the Pencil is simply just attached to the iPad. At first I thought it might be wobbly but the back case of the Combo Touch have a small raised back which prevents to from backward movement. Still, have to be careful when transporting it around.
7. All round protection compared to only corners protection on the Slim Folio Pro. The USB-C connector when used with Combo Touch doesn't bother me as I use Apple original cables and Mophie's cables.
8. Key travel is smaller than Slim Folio Pro, similarly to my M1 MBP's Magic Keyboard. But all with outstanding keyboard tactility.
Overall very satisfied with the Combo Touch, even though I'm not really a trackpad user. Very nice to hold and I must say it's Logitech's best keyboard case to date.

I wouldn't really consider Apple's Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro because not only it's a lot more expensive, but it's ONLY usable in landscape mode and has no shortcut key which I rely a lot on. But yeah, it's just meant to be a keyboard for the iPad Pro. Versatility wise, it's a far cry from Logitech's Combo Touch.
