For me, I got one sim card for tablet. So, I will always get cellular model. I do bring my tablet out to work or drinking coffee with friends.

I used to always get wifi models and tether while I’m outdoors. My current M1 Pro is my very first cellular model and it’s a lot more convenient on the go.

I only played Clash of Clans and so I cannot comment on other games.
I used it to watch youtube videos, I had no issue at all and it does NOT lag as well.
All these are done in office as I do not take public transport. So, I cannot commend on the speed inside train.

i supposed that it is still worthy to get ipad pro (m2) instead of sourcing for ipad pro (m1)?

The price for M1 in Lazada is $2927 after discount. For M2 model, it's $3574 on Apple website.

If you can get significant savings from the M1 model, it's still a good purchase because both are capable tablets that will do the same thing.

Depending on how much cheaper the m1 model one can get I supposed.

take iPhone as an example, one iPhone can easily use for 5 years. So if iPhone 13 brand new one, one cannot get more than 20% cheaper than iPhone 14, it is still worth it to get iPhone 14 since u are going to have one more year of usage than 13.

I compare the refurbished iPad Pro 11-inch gen 2 (A12z) sold by Apple vs the m2 iPad Pro 11-inch now. Price difference about 33% cheaper for the gen 2. If consider an iPad can be used for 5 years, I should expect 40% cheaper price at least for the gen 2 to buy but it is 33%. If 6 years, then it should be 33% cheaper at least which is true but imagine that it is a refurbished set and not even a brand new retail set. It is not exactly real cheaper too.

So unless one can get a m1 iPad Pro for more than 17% or 20% cheaper in price than m2 else it is not really a ‘saving’ given that the iPad Pro lifespan.

it may sounds a lot of saving but if u compare the % it is only 18% cheaper than m2 brand new. If u follow my calculation on the earlier post. The saving u get is just one year lesser of lifespan comparing to m2 if u are to use the iPad Pro for 6 years in total which it is not really a real saving.
