Without external display for Stage Manager, it's not much different from the dock that's already available. It's just different ways of doing the same thing.
I feel Stage Manager makes multi tasking more intuitive. I never really like the previous way of having 2 apps open side by side which was abit restricted to me. Stage manager allows you to slide from the left side of the screen and see your open apps. Then you can open up to 4 apps at one time (for non m1 iPad Pro) and resize them around. I'm able to play a YouTube video in the background and work on my other apps.

yep, many people including reviewers claimed the older gens are capable of stage manager.

Wow…seems like a lot of potential Apple experts there. I believe as long as the iPad itself is still functioning well or capable enough, it should be able to support.

iPad 10 = downgraded iPad Air 5
- $180 more for the new entry iPad
- Missing Apple Pencil 2 support on PURPOSE with a useless dongle
- Cost cutting screen (no full laminated, no P3, no anti reflective coating)
- Magic keyboard folio for $379?!
Who the hell will spend on a keyboard at this price especially those who gets an entry level iPad.

For someone who hasn't got an iPad, is it better to get the M1 or M2 iPad Pro? The price difference is not that much.

If u get from Shopee or Lazada, there's a significant price different wor...
Yup, get from Apple LazMall or Shopee Mall during sales (recommended to use price tracker via Chrome extension). I bought my iPad Mini 6 at $650 - $100 NS voucher = $550 during 9.9 sales.

Get it while it last. To me, if I do not have any iPad, between M1 and M2 model, I might be going for M1 model. 2 Reasons, cheaper and secondly, M2 models seem to have issue with heat. M1 will be a safer bet.

they are now selling only 14% cheaper. Worth it?

Personally for me, when the display is small, my apps are usually full-screen. Even when I'm using a 15-inch laptop, the window is usually full-screen.

The main improvement in multi-tasking with Stage Manager is you have the icons on the side and dock visible so you can switch apps with a quick tap of the finger.

Samsung has recently added a tiny dock with icons that is always visible at the bottom which really helps with switching apps. Similar functionality, but implemented in different style.

M1 vs M2 difference is just on paper. In real life you're unlikely to see any noticeable difference. But the 14% difference is price is a huge difference you can see.

Any idea usually refurbished is how much cheaper?
