Does UOB One CC still work with ipaymy to get 3.33% quarterly? And qualify for credit card spendings for UOB One account?

Anyone has tried iPayMy to pay the taxes? Can I check after the payment has been marked "Completed" in iPayMy, how many working days later that IRAS will update the payment record? Thanks.

Hello, may I know if BOC earns cashback from ipaymy? Sorry, I couldn't find any definitive answers in the search too.

I would caution you not to try iPayMy with BOC or any other online cashback cards. My personal experience is that I paid a considerable amount using iPayMy via BOC Qoo10 but did not received online cashback for it. BOC claimed that the transaction was offline, while iPayMy denied and didn't help on anything.

Wonder what invoice to provide for insurance premium payments. Especially when u want to pay earlier, insurance companies do not send u the payment invoices that early.

yeap i'm planning to avoid now. having missing cashback and suspected to IPM. silly that they're detecting it as offline. if really have to use on BOC, use it on Elite Miles as it doesn't need to be online.

This is blatantly flouting the rules, and not allowed.

Imagine if this is allowed, you're basically paying going to get miles for almost free.

I've been using first page of policy document as proof (as long as got name and policy number).

Been doing monthly payments. Every month just submit the same file.

May I ask when did this happen for you? I have been using BOC for ipaymy since Jan till March... It was working for me though...

You can actually call BOC to ask them to compute for you... I was informed that they go by the MCC code of the merchant... Unless the MCC category for ipaymy changed...

Happened to me that transactions in Dec, Jan and Feb could not get online rebate. Which card u used in Jan to Mar? I used Qoo10 card. Now I stop ipaymy with BOC card. Called BOC, was told the MCC is under non-online. Not a logical reply, really vomit blood to talk to CSO.
Contact ipaymy, ipaymy said transactions were under online method, they don't have offline transaction terminal, so all processed online.
Really that time, no OTP sms , don't know which side give wrong trigger.

I recall in Mar19 (?), IPM has this "no rebate, we pay" promotion ... ie, they waive the fees ... not sure if worth your while to take it up with them

I am using the BOC Family Card. I contacted iPaymy and they told me they had a change of MCC code for the non-rentals payments.. Not sure if that changed the game. The non-rental code is now 7399 which is sort of the miscellaneous business. But both codes doesn't really give a hint whether the transaction is online or not... Probably depends on BOC's discretion.

MCC and online/offline are 2 different indicators in a bank's system.

MCC categorises the nature of business of a merchant.
Online/Offline is a separate indicator to tell whether the txn is conducted online or offline.

The more important thing is, how BOC determine the Online/Offline as BOC and iPayMy are singing 2 different tunes. So end of day is BOC decision to call.

I tried paying income tax but seems need to submit an invoice just like cardup.

So we can't split up the bill into monthly installments and can only do 1 lump sum?

So cannot do monthly instalment for tax?

I just tried to add a schedule payment for iras

Enn7jkb.jpg

Seems like we can do schedule recurring payment for iras

I cannot click submit since I’m still waiting for my tax invoice but did anyone try successfully?

I doubt that works... it's a directive from IRAS... I used to do that with cardup but now they put a stop to it with instructions from Iras, probably due to the nightmare of reconciliations.
